Lodging Deluxe: No need to go out again. Just sit down for dinner.

The spacious contemporary Lodge house has class and charm, a stunning high roof and ceiling of rimu. You will find an elegant blend of European design, antique and nature style. The generous guest lounge offers exclusive panoramic sea views, access to the gardens, a wood fire, lovely dining area and comfortable seating to relax. Not to forget, we just added another beautiful feature – at night time you find now some subtle but delightful illumination in the stunning garden and bush vegetation, if you wish. Tea and Coffee making facility with Espresso Machine for your use.

The Lodging deluxe rooms at the Lodge are perfect for couples or a single traveller, have their own bathrooms ensuite, and spacious private decks/ treetop balcony with amazing views to the ocean and bush-clad ranges. All rooms are facing SW towards sunset and the exact direction for a potential Aurora Australis Southern Lights – if we are lucky enough to have one you could see it from your bed!

The Bed & Breakfast rate Room 2 – “Inlet View” is $695 per couple/ room per night including breakfast, and use of Bath Tub on your huge private deck/ treetop balcony. If you wish enquire for add-ons – subject to availability.

The Lodging deluxe rate Room 2 “Inlet View” is NZ$ 1075 per couple/ room per night, accommodation including:

– gourmet breakfast
– 3 course dinner – The Perfect Dinner – at least every second day (and another option eg buffet style supper with nice treats for the other day) find a sample menu below “Dining”
(if you are dining with us several times there are of course different menus). Drinks at additional cost.
– a shorter guided activity – We are happy to take you on a garden tour about NZ ferns, orchids and trees with birdlife visiting. Or you might enjoy a cooking class? We are flexible with any other ideas as well, just let us know what you are interested in.
– sauna – The infra-red Biosauna is in a private spot, a hut amidst native vegetation looking out into native forest. A temperature of 40-45 degrees makes you sweat slowly – great for skin, detoxination and general wellness!
– Outdoor Bath Tub, our “star pool” Better than a spa – ‘the freshest water in the world’ (no chemicals added), all ready just for you! It is an amazing and deeply relaxing treat. Enjoying the views and sunset as well as having a dream of a soak under the stars (you may well see the Southern Cross and Milky Way amongst hundreds of stars). Lovely soft water. Very comfortable for one and big enough tub for two, any time and in the privacy of your huge deck/ treetop balcony.
Exclusive use and timing to your convenience (it is recommended to have the hot tub rather before then straight after dinner).
You will have priority with all extras.
